In the article titled “Outcomes of laparoscopic one-anastomosis gastric bypass in treatment of morbid obesity: a retrospective analysis”, published on pages 713-721, Issue 4, Volume 38 in The Egyptian Journal of Surgery [1], the below sentence on page 714 line 36 under heading “Patients and methods” is to be deleted:

“Then, using a harmonic scalpel, the greater omentum was cut slightly to the left of the midline. In the case of patients whose morbid obesity was the indication for the surgery”

The number is incorrectly written in the sentence “Gastrojejunostomy was found 220 from duodenojejunal flexure”. The correct sentence should be read as:

“Gastrojejunostomy was found 250 cm from duodenojejunal flexure”.

The sentence “We proposed to fashion a Roux-en-Y limb leaving in place the preexisting gastrojejunal anastomosis. We divided the afferent limb next to the previous gastrojejunal anastomosis, and a jejunojejunal anastomosis was performed distally at 70 cm on the alimentary limb.” on page 717 line 39

is to be replaced with “We proposed to fashion a new Roux-en −Y gastric bypass at only one meter from duodenojejunal flexure by dividing the pre-existing gastrojejunal anastomosis.”
